Lee County Mosquito Control Districts 2021

District 1

District 1 encompasses Lehigh Acres, Buckingham, Wildcat Run, Florida Gulf Coast University, and the Gateway community. The approximate outline of Area 1 consists of a northern boundary located at State Road 80, a western boundary of Buckingham Rd, a Southern boundary of Corkscrew Rd, and an eastern boundary of the Hendry-Lee County Line. District 1 also encompasses the Gateway community located east of Gateway Blvd as well as the Florida Gulf Coast University area located east of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and south of Alico Rd.

District 2

District 2 encompasses Southern Corkscrew Rd, Estero, Bonita Springs, and San Carlos Park. The approximate outline of Area 2 consists of a northern boundary of Alico Rd, a southern boundary of Collier-Lee County line, a western boundary of Hickory Blvd, and an eastern boundary of Collier-Lee County line. District 2 also includes a portion of San Carlos park south of Caloosa Rd from US 41 to the west side of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway.

District 3

District 3 encompasses Bonita Grande, Captiva, Sanibel, Pine Island, and Western Cape Coral. The approximate outline of Area 3 covers all of the barrier islands and Cape Coral located west of Santa Barbara Blvd and South of Kismet Parkway West.

District 4

District 4 encompasses North Fort Myers, Northern Cape Coral, Alva, Olga and Fort Myers Shores. The approximate outline of Area 4 consists of a northern boundary of Charlotte-Lee County line, an eastern boundary of Hendry-Lee County line, a southern boundary of Orange River Blvd, and a western boundary of the Charlotte Harbor. District 4 encompasses the area north of State Road 80 from the Hendry-Lee County Line to I75 as well as the communities River Hall, Portico, Verandah, and others north of Orange River Blvd. The western portion of Area 4 includes everything west of US 41 and north of Hancock Bridge Parkway until Santa Barbara Parkway then north until Kismet Parkway West where it extends west to the Charlotte Harbor.

District 5

District 5 encompasses the general area of the City of Fort Myers, as well as the Tice and Buckingham communities. The approximate outline of Area 5 covers everything west of Gunnery Rd N to the Caloosahatchee River and everything South of Orange River Blvd down to Page Field Airport. The area west of Gunnery Rd N and north of State Road 82 is included within Area 5 westward to Colonial Blvd. The area north of Colonial Blvd is included until Winkler Ave where it extends south to Queen Palm Ln. The Idlewild community is included west of Deer Run Farms Rd south to Garland St and west of Fountain Ave. On the northern boundary includes the area south of the Caloosahatchee River west of I75and south of Orange River Blvd. The southern boundary encompasses the area north of Maple Dr.

District 6

District 6 encompasses the general area of South Fort Myers outside of the City of Fort Myers. The approximate outline of Area 6 starts with a northern boundary of Colonial Blvd, an eastern boundary of Gateway Blvd, southern boundary of Pine Rd, and a western boundary of Winkler Rd. The western most boundary extends from Winkler Rd on the south end north to Ascot Ln, West to Carmelle Dr., north to Myerlee Country Club Blvd, and west to the Caloosahatchee River. The San Carlos Park neighborhood is included within Area 6 west of Three Oaks Parkway and north of Pittsburgh Blvd. The area west of US 41 is also included from Constitution Blvd south to Pine Rd.

District 7

District 7 encompasses the general area of Eastern Cape Coral and Iona. In the Cape Coral area the outline of Area 7 extends from a northern boundary of at Hancock Bridge Parkway, west of US 41 and east of Santa Barbara Blvd south to the Caloosahatchee River. In the Iona area the communities located west of Winkler Rd, north of Isle of Palms Dr., east of the Caloosahatchee River, and south of Deep Lagoon Ln are all included as well.
